PATIENT STORIES
We feel fortunate to have received reflections from our patients about how Colonial Healthcare has helped them. Here are some of our favorites.
Made a tough situation better
I had a wonderful experience with Colonial Urgent Care when my daughter broke her arm on a Sunday morning. Dr. Cain and staff at Colonial Urgent Care went out of their way to make a tough situation better and to make my daughter feel loved and cared for. Thank you Colonial Urgent Care!

They put me at ease
The staff at Colonial Urgent Care was professional and friendly. They put me at ease with their attentiveness, questions and obvious concern for my well-being.

Genuine interest in patients
Colonial Family Practice and Dr. Lucas seem to take a genuine interest in their patients, which means a lot to me. All of the staff are very, very nice and help me to understand any questions I may have. I also like the ability to have CT scans and lab work performed here in the office instead of having to go to the hospital at a later date for the same services. To me, it is also a wonderful feeling comfortable with seeing other doctors in the practice if Dr. Lucas is not here.

The perfect place for my family
Colonial Pediatrics is very attentive to my concerns as a parent. Colonial Pediatrics provides quick and friendly service, but I appreciate the care they provide the most! I like everything about Colonial Pediatrics. This is the perfect practice for my family. I have had no problems in the past and would like to say thank you to all the staff for their care and making sure the needs of their patients are met!

Thankful for my son’s quick diagnosis
One morning in April I found my 16 year old son lying on the floor doubled over in the fetal position, complaining of his stomach hurting. On the way to work I dropped him off at Colonial Family Practice to be examined. An hour later I received a call from Dr. Grunsky and his nurse Erica to inform me of some tests they wanted to run due to an elevated white blood cell count and concerns for his appendix.
After performing a CT on my son, I was told that he needed to get to the hospital as soon as possible. While we were on our way, Dr. Grunsky had already contacted the day surgical clinic to update them and I was able to provide them with a copy of his CT results on CD. In 30 to 40 minutes my son was being pushed down the hall to the operating room for an appendectomy.
I am forever thankful for Dr. Grunsky, Erica and the Colonial Family Practice team for their personal care and attention to detail to ensure my son was quickly diagnosed and cared for in a timely fashion.
I am also grateful that Dr. Grunsky took the time to personally contact me to let me know what was going on, and for contacting the hospital to inform them of my son’s condition. He is truly a doctor who cares and listens to his patients. My son owes his life to Dr. Grunsky and his team, and I feel my family medical needs could not be in better hands!

Dr. Soto is a very knowledgeable, caring, and compassionate doctor. My wife and I both see him on a regular basis and consider him a very good friend as well as our Doctor. We have the utmost confidence in his ability. I would highly recommend him to anyone'.
