Wellness care is designed to maximize your health all year long by focusing on ways to prevent illness and injury. Children over 2, adolescents, teens, adults, and seniors should schedule a wellness check-up once a year to maintain their health. If you have not had a check-up with a doctor in the past year, most insurance carriers cover the full cost of a wellness visit once a year. Colonial Healthcare offers free wellness visits for Medicare patients as well.
